Infrastructure Support:
- Assist in maintaining deployment pipelines and automation scripts
- Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform
- Help monitor system health and performance
- Support routine maintenance tasks and updates
- Work within Azure DevOps to manage build pipelines, release definitions, and related work items
Cloud Operations:
- Support Azure cloud resource management under guidance
- Learn cloud cost optimization strategies
- Assist in implementing security configurations
- Help maintain system documentation
Deployment Assistance:
- Support production deployments under supervision
- Learn troubleshooting methodologies for common issues
- Shadow senior engineers during incident response
- Assist in maintaining deployment procedures
Learning and Collaboration:
- Participate in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions
- Document technical procedures and learnings
- Collaborate with team members on projects
- Build understanding of DevOps best practices
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 0-1 year of experience or relevant internships
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/ADO)
Skills and Competencies:
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Understanding of basic DevOps concepts
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship experience in IT or development
- Basic cloud certification (Azure Fundamentals)
- Experience with Linux systems
- Knowledge of containerization concepts
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts
